Microface experience spans industrial test systems, major machine moves, proprietary instrumentation and special projects where precision, controlled measurement and reliability matter.
The Herkules / Miba equipment provides an example of the scale of established test machinery. For an existing dynamometer, the starting point is to assess its mechanical condition, instrumentation and control interfaces against the tests you need to run.
Since 2003, Microface has developed fibre-optic instrumentation to solve interference and electrical-isolation problems around test machinery.
Historic projects include commercial-vehicle equipment moved from France to Delhi, rail machinery moved within the UK and European dynamometer relocations.
Microface has contributed to special projects associated with NASA's Space Shuttle programme and the United States Air Force stealth bomber programme. Some defence-related details remain confidential.
